First time user here, wondering what's the best way to enjoy this game without too lengthy installation?

I have the original game discs including expansions, but I have no CD reader on my pc sadly.

I just read about something called Morrowind Rebirth which seem to be a good way to not have to install a million mods?

All in all a bit confused where to start. Any tips appreciated.

So you don't have any disc-reader at all on your PC? o_O How come?

External optical drives are fairly cheap.  Rebirth is great but it conflicts with many other mods meaning you might end up having to forego some mods that you might otherwise use e.g. QoL mods.

I also don't have a CD drive because I don't need one.
The flash drive is more convenient and doesn't have a scratchy surface.
The absence of CDs is compensated by virtual disk drives and the connection of disk images.

If I'm not mistaken, QoL is a set of mods for comfortable play.
The author of the question wants to quickly install a ready-made set, not to choose mods and solve compatibility problems.

I ended up getting morrowind rebirth. The main goal was indeed to install some mod or set of mods with absolute minimal effort.

I should not mention how I could install morrowind without a disc reader

The best way like any old game is to buy an old Xbox from Amazon and play the vanilla. Playing Morrowind on the original Xbox is great and easy to set up!
