I Downloaded and Installed a Mod for Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen called dinput8 and I used it to change my Character's Stamina to Ungodly Levels...
But now I want to change it back but cannot seem to reset the Mod...
I have tried everything I can think of...
I have started a New File, nothing...
I have Deleted the Mod and Uninstalled and Reinstalled the Game and then the Mod... nothing...
PLEASE HELP!!

You should be able to change it back using dinput8, in the character stat settings. However you have to set it to the desired amount. So you should remove all your character's gear and modify the stamina amount you see without any buffs or gear. If this doesn't fix it you may have changed one of the Augments, making it buff your stamina much more than it should. You should check in dininput8 in the Augments sections and see if you have made any changes to them.

Where you able to figure this out as of yet? I dont get it, you said you even uninstalled and re installed, but your adjastments to player stamina where unchanged( even after clean install?) That doesnt makes sense, if you ve reinstalled via steam, and not via some copy of the game you have stored in your storage. If you want the most sure way to return your game to its vanilla form (in the case you cant readjust just the stamina parameters back to vanilla manually) clean install is the safest way.

Giving up on the game is NOT an option. This forum is not really the best place to look for help in the first place, you should go to discord instead. With that said, I personally doudt anyone will sort out whats going on with your case, based solely on the info you gave. And thats because what your saying simply cant happen. The steam or gog files that you d re-download to reinstall the game, cannot be affected by an ini file and a dll file. So theres definitely smt false or missing on the info you gave. And on that basis it leaves room for assumptions, like whether you used a legal copy, or a preinstalled pirate copy or smt (on which case you should know that mods dont always work as they should, and besides the game is constantly on sale on steam for 5 bucks, like I dont know ,pm and we ll figure smt out if you cant afford it lol XP). Or that smt entirely different might be happening that you dont know or discount hence didnt mention.

In any case, and assuming the last good faith hypothesis, I dont think you ever completely uninstalled the game, so what I d have you do, is go in the file where your save file is, and delete it, and then go over C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\CAPCOM\DRAGONS DOGMA DARK ARISEN

and delete the config.ini file.

Then download and reinstall the game from steam.

If that wouldnt work either, I d have you make a new steam account and have it be a supposedely family member's account of your current steam account, then lend the game to that account and re-install anew.
