diablo2resurrected Diablo II Resurrected - Mod "Expanded Storage (with Controller)" not working

Hi all,

I'm a total newbie with nexus and vortex so I think I'm doing something wrong. So please give me some hints to make the "Expanded Storage" Mod working.

 

The szenario:

I'm using Vortex 1.4.16 as Download and Mod-Manager. My Diablo II installation is the actual one from Battle.net in region "Europe" and version 1.0.66381.

 

What I tried:

Download the latest mod

1st try:

- Install the mod in modus "Copy/Deploy"

- activate the mod

- mark mod as active MPQ-Mod

 

ok, seems to be active in the mod-section and on dashboard I can see 1 active mod.

 

Now I start the game from the dashboard and create a new character. The mod seems not active, all storage is in standard.

2nd try:

- remove the mod and reinstall in "Extract"-Mode (it's the only mod I need, so this seems to be OK to me)

- activate the mod

 

In dashboard the same result - 1 active mod.

 

Start the game via dashboard, create new char, same result - no expanded storage.

 

Additional try:

As read in the extenstion description I copied all my .d2s files:

From C:\Users\{me}\Saved Games\D2R

To C:\Users\{me}\Saved Games\D2R\Mods\Expanded

 

Same result - no expanded storage.

 

What am I doing wrong? Any hints welcome.

UPDATE: I do it the "classic way" and copied all stuff manually into the mod-directory without vortex - I found no other solution. What a pity :confused:
