jessesDRpepper Posted October 18, 2021 Share Posted October 18, 2021 (edited) So, I've been having problems with the main menu in Oblivion. Nothing I do seems to fix the issue. I've tried opening the BIK files in the "Video" file with different software, but to no avail. I have since disabled "open with windows media player" for the files in the screenshot, as it didn't help at all, and the files don't open with anything anymore. Just as it was by default. I still don't have any start up video for the launching of the game, and the main menu is just a blank background with no music. Everything else in the game seems to be working normally, just not any of the files shown here. Anyone who could help me out would be extremely appreciated. Also I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times, and that doesn't seem to work at all. I've even downloaded menu replacement mods, and tried a different intro music mod through vortex, but none of that has worked. I even looked in the "Music" files to see if vortex had in fact replaced the main menu music with the mod, and the file checks out; however, it doesn't work in game... Now the only BIK files the game will read have to be labeled "ORMainMenu" or "ORGameStudios". The same goes for the menu music. It has to be labeled "ORMainMenu" as well.
