Remove Light Effects from a spell?

Double click the spell and then double click the Spell Effect. Well it seems we cannot change the visual effect this way.

The only way I know right now is to make a scripted spell, so add the spell effect you want and add another spell effect, and make number 2 scripted and choose the effect from it. I do not know if the spell will show both effects or just the one from your empty scripted spell, but test it anyway. It might work and be the way to fool Oblivion...

To be sure the effect works, set the duration to 1 as spells with it set to 0 will not fire of at all.

You can also edit the Light effect, but then all light effects will become edited.

That's actually the same set up I have. Dam Fatigue On Self with a scripted Push that has no visual effect. Though when I cast my spell the room still lights up for a second. Would it be possible to edit the light effect of just my scripted spell, or is that something that would affect all of them? Since vanilla on-touch casting looks like you're reaching your hand out, I was hoping to make something that looks like a bash, but the light effect really throws it off.
