Help! Trying to mod the meat yield when hunting

Hi everyone, I've been trying to mod the amount of meat I get per animal and at first I thought I had got it but the range seems to be off. I think I got how to set the maximum amount of meat you can get but is there any way to set a minimum amount?

Here's the hare meat line in the inventory_preset2item file as an example

I'm trying to set the max amount of meat to 10 and the min to 6, am I doing this right?
