Are there any guides to give a custom follower an SOS body? Whenever I ask someone all I get is a cryptic "use SOS Light." Does  anyone have / can anyone make a guide for this please?

Custom bodies are simply armatures that only custom NPCs use, aka different than SkinNaked or whatever typical NPCs use

 

Be it SOS/UNP/whatever its the same approach. You might benefit from using another follower mod which uses that body type as a template, and use that approach with yours
