When I tried to change the Greyscale Texture to a black one using GIMP, the spell becomes invisible. I realized that this is because of Alpha Transparency. So I turned the function off in Nifskope but now the spell looks more...blocky and not as smooth and gradient (and semi-transparent) as the original healing spell. I'm pretty sure I still need Alpha Transparency to get the smooth gradient effect that I want the spell to have, but I'm stuck because BLACK is the color of transparency!
