It mostly depends on your Load Order and VRAM.

Any monitor resolution can get more visual detail with bigger texture sizes.

Not all monitor resolution sizes will see the bigger resolution details the same.

Bigger objects require bigger texture sizes to match well with smaller objects.

Your Monitors Resolution is Ideal for 2K details.

Mountain Textures will need to be 4K at least to look good though.

Since its a 2K Display and not a 4K even if you increase Texture Size for Small to Medium Objects you will see ''Some Difference'' but not in a Gamechanging way as you would with a 4K Display. Of course 4K Displays might require more System Resources.

If low on VRAM you can try 1K for Architecture or Landscapes but it might be only necessary if you have a GPU with less than 4-3GB VRAM.

Everything above should run them fine.

Trees even in Vanilla Skyrim are also 4K.

If you encounter a Mod that offers 2K versions of them and they still look very detailed (Realistic Aspen Trees for example) than its because the Texture Creator did them that good. Tree Mesh Size and Mesh Polygons also matter in terms of Performance as well as their numbers = More Objects more Resources required to run them.

If the above performs well in terms of GPU memory in Synergy with your Load Order and maybe Post Processing Utility like ENB or Re-Shade you are fine.

If you have anything higher than 4GB of VRAM i would recommend going for the Medium and Above version of Skyrim Parallax even in a heavy load order.

Should work well. Rest is just Optimizing your Game Setup.
