ZxAsriel Posted November 26, 2021 Share Posted November 26, 2021 (edited) The equipment launcher from doom would be nice to have and be fairly balanced and a fun addition to the game, I say when the player equips one it appears visually on their left shoulder and is bound to the grenade (HOLD & Release) key. The equipment launcher would launch several ordinances, none of which require ammunition; instead, each function recharges over time. This could be improved via an weapon workbench. Flamer Breath - Makes the launcher spew flamer fuel in a 160 degree angle in front of the player and looks like a compact U.S. Army flamer. Quickly looking around / behind you mid-burst can allow you to catch enemies outside of your field of view completely by surprise. Chain Gun: The chain gun is a minigun attachment Will launch a recoilless spray of 500 5MM rounds into your enemies and then need to recharge, good for dealing with absolute hordes of ghouls, infested areas, or raiders. The Cyro-Pill: An equipment cannon that launches an cryo grenade in a large blast, guaranteeing flash freezing of multiple enemies, unlike the default frag-out counterpart, the cryo grenade launched is a "pre-primed pill" that explodes on contact with a surface. Frag-Out Roller (Default) : Frag-out roller is the default and most common cannon, able to launch 6 pills that roll on flat ground and bounce off walls and ceilings, detonating shortly after, and upon contact with an enemy instantly explode. Being the most common, it has the lowest cooldown timer for recharging, reloading each 6 pills very fast. Frag-Out Pill (Impact) : A equipment launcher variant which launches a pill that immediately explodes when making contact with a surface or enemy, 6 can be launched before needing to recharge the 6 rounds individually. Launcher-PPL-12 : A equipment launcher which launches 12 rockets out in a shotgun-choke spread like fashion, and needs more time to recharge than most other equipment launchers.
