heytherenikita Posted December 4, 2021 Share Posted December 4, 2021 Hey all, I started playing Dragon Age: Awakenings and recruited Nathaniel Howe. I made him a bard, and now every time he switches from one song to another, he screams. It happens every single time and is honestly ruining the DLC for me, lol. Is there any way to disable this particular 'voice line'? Idk what else to call it. I don't really care if I have to sacrifice a few more of his passive dialogue/combat sounds, I just want the yelling gone. Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
theskymoves Posted December 4, 2021 Share Posted December 4, 2021 Dain's Fixes includes this optional QoL change: * Quiet singing:Removes the obnoxious war cry sound effect from Song of Valour and Song of Courage. I don't know if that tweak requires the rest of (or at least the Core files) from the mod, or if the bard song files will work independently. Dain's is actually a mod I was using for Origins but had to remove for Awakening because it was messing up certain things in combat for me across multiple DLCs, I'm not sure why but since it seems to be the only mod that has a fix for the obnoxious war cry, I'll have to figure out a way to use it! theskymoves Posted December 5, 2021 Share Posted December 5, 2021 I'd try just putting the 'quiet singing' folder in override, and see if that, on its own, quells the yelping.
