I have two questions: 1: In the mini-quest where I have to convince "Mikael the Bard" in the Bannered Mare in Whiterun to leave Carlotta Valentia alone, I can only beat him to death. He does not stop the bar fight. What am I doing wrong? 2: In general, is there any way to stop my companion from killing my opponent in a bar fight except making them wait in front of the tavern? Georgiegril Posted August 24, 2013 Share Posted August 24, 2013 It sounds to me like you have a mod that is influencing NPC or player combat behavior, or maybe the tavern.You may need to go through your mods list to determine which it is. It might be something as simple as needing to run BOSS for load order or cleaning with TES5Edit. You might be able to determine which mod it is and find a workaround by re-reading the description and discussion pages for any mods you have that might be involved.
