TCL blocked?

TCL isn't working *most of the time* any more.

 

That is, issuing TCL or tcl from the console isn't being processed (no echoed message of "TCL is ON, or "TCL is OFF", just quiet dismissal of the command).

 

I know this is going to be a rather vague question, but is there some trick to override whatever override has been applied by whichever mods I installed that's causing this?

 

Or, if you can wade through it, something stand out in my load order that might be causing the issue?

I got the same problem sometimes, for me the solution is finish the game start new.

If you have something selected in the console (its ID showing in the top center of the console area) the command affects that item ONLY. Click a time or two so NOTHING is selected, and TCL becomes universal. I have fallen into that trap more than once...... Aside from that, the command always works as it should for me.

AH... That seems to fix the issue, as least for a quick test. Now, fingers crossed for when it counts :wink:

Well now you do. The answer was exactly what was suggested. Make sure you're not targeting anything. Try targeting the sky first. Or maybe a cave ceiling if inside.
