Running the latest version of Skyrim Anniversary Edition with the latest update of SKSE64 AE, and I am using KS Hairdos SMP and my female character's hair looks like this.

 

What am I doing wrong?

 

HDT-SMP SE has not been updated since January of 2020.

 

Should I just uninstall KS Hairdos SMP and get the regular non-physics version instead?

Have you tried Faster HDT-SMP? https://www.nexusmod...tion/mods/57339 it is currently up-to-date with these versions:

 

AE: Skyrim 1.6.353 - SKSE 2.1.5
SE: Skyrim 1.5.97 - SKSE 2.0.20
VR: Skyrim 2.0.12 - SKSE 2.0.12
