I have no idea if it's supposed to work without one, you may or may not explain that somewhere, but I'd really like the ability to download an older version. The previous version worked for me just fine.
slavicpotato1 wrote: There's no ESP, don't try to use skse plugins if you don't know the basics on how to install and manage them. Learn first. Old versions aren't available because data structures evolve, downgrading at a whim could result in losing configuration which was made on the newer version.
NeroAkira wrote: I downgraded and it worked fine...lulz
Also, the problem was a corrupted portion of the download. Or cut off text in one of the files. Or any other of a myriad of problems that can occur when downloading anything.
I apologize if my comment seemed mean-spirited?
I just re-downloaded the latest version to double check the files of the two versions against one another, and decided to try the new version again and it worked this time.
Again, the problem seems to have been some kind of corruption in the download.
I just came back to correct my original statement by saying it works fine. lol
slavicpotato1 wrote: Sure it works and since you never even ran the new version it makes no difference - if you had however and if you made some changes, it would had flushed those out of your save and reverted to defaults once you downgraded and ran the old one, assuming that data versions were incremented somewhere between the old ver and current.
Idk how you got it but data corruption is very unlikely these days, this isn't the 00s (unless your MM/browser has some serious issues). Your comment was like pretty much any 'it doesn't work' comment out there - to the very end you'll blame something else instead of just admitting you broke something lol. In general everything that goes wrong with the pc is the owners fault the vast majority of the time. So much so that tech support folk even developed special codenames for ppl like you lol
NeroAkira wrote: The Data corruption probably had something to do with the lightning storm yesterday. Who knows?
So, hold on, I downloaded/installed your mod, latest version, with Vortex, and it didn't work. Clearly my fault. All I did was download and install with Vortex. Didn't even touch the file. Clearly my fault.
So I download an archived version, the very previous, and it works fine.
So re-download(manually this time) and install using Vortex again and the latest version works fine.
This is my fault somehow? Sounds like random happenstance or a Vortex failing, to me. Apparently, this is somehow my fault, because I didn't know that SKSE plugins didn't have ESPs and my mentioning that lead you to assume I broke something?
"tech support folk even developed special codenames for ppl like you lol " LMFAO
This does not apply to me. And it's very insulting.

I never blamed anything. I implied what the problem MIGHT be in the comments section of the mod the problem was arising with.... Essentially, I was fishing for information on how to solve the problem and ended up solving it myself before any response.
Because I'm not inept. Which you implied.
I implied that you'll ultimately blame it on something else, and you've just done exactly that:
This is my fault somehow? Sounds like random happenstance or a Vortex failing, to me.
It's infinitely more likely that you've somehow failed, not Vortex. A mature piece of software used by hundreds of thousands doesn't just randomly corrupt data and go unnoticed, a modicum of common sense is all you need to figure that out. The way you've worded it was as if this is a normal occurence and it may 'happen when downloading anything'. No lol, it definitely doesn't. If you're really getting general random data corruption on your system then who knows what's going on.
Because I'm not inept. Which you implied.
I never implied that you're inept, I'm telling you directly that you've got little clue what you're doing otherwise you wouldn't be looking for an ESP next to SKSE plugin. Learn about what you're doing before you try to do it and you'll be fine.
Hello sorry if this has been mentioned already. However is there any way to change, where a backpack sits on the player character/NPCS. Weapons repositioner had this feature under a customisable node which I was able to make presets for. Since this mod seems to be infitietly better than WRP SE having a menu and all, I would like to know if its possible to do this and how. Thank you.

I was endlessly searching for a cocktail of mods that would allow me to visibly display a shield on my back, a crossbow, and a backpack. Nothing worked quite the way I wanted. With this mod I not only got what I wanted, it also let me modify gear placement in ways I didn't think were possible. Now my Orc adventurer slings his shield over his left shoulder, and it looks AWESOME.
So kudos. Great stuff.
Hello I see you're talking about backpacks, is there a way to change the position of the backpack on your playercharacter/npc, so far I cant find anything in the menu. Thank you.

I hope this reply will catch all of you struggling with this but the solution I imagine would be to create an override condition (equipment overrides in the UI) to disable the gear display, then make the condition for that be a specific item, set to whatever clothing barmaids wear, I don't use the mod so I don't know if they all wear the same clothing. If they don't you could try setting the condition to be for the keyword of ArmorClothing (it's something like that anyway,) that way anyone wearing regular clothing won't have the items you set the condition for, but people wearing proper armor will.

Check out tools, settings and disable NPC equipment display.

They use the Tavern Clothes and the Barkeeper clothes, you can set an equipment ovverride that hides everything if those clothes are equipped :) like MrWaterplant was saying
In all my long years of modding Skyrim, this is one of the best mods I've ever installed. Easy, very well thought, looks great and works flawlesly (at least in my recent playtrough). Thank you very much, slavic friend, you're a legend. Kudos to you from Mexico.
