Oblivion's famous fish resource gone?

Hey there,

 

I recently thought of continuing on Nehrim by making a fish mod, but the resources from Sjors Boomschors appear to be gone from Nexus. :sad:

 

SB Resource - Saltwater Fish

and

SB Resource - Clear Stream Fish

don't exist anymore, yet there are other mods on Nexus that still use these resources.

Would it be allowed to get them from there or can't these fish resources be used anymore?

 

This mod for example uses the resources.

Would it be enough if I write into the credits, that I got them from there and the originals come from Sjors Boomschors?

You can ask the authors direct if you can use them. I miss one specific cat resource mod as one example. Do not ask Maskar as he will say no but try the others with PM as they might be reached that way as it is rare they read here. You just click at the author at the specific mod page and send them a PM and it ends up here but the author gets an email with a copy of your request or question or comments, which he most likely will read or at least see.

 

Maskar is the only one I know that use the cat I wanna use... I cannot and I use other cats instead... ;)

Fair enough. I've sent shad44 a PM and also a user called sjors boomschors, even though I am not sure, if that's the person who created the fish resources.

As there is only one mod for Skyrim available from said user.

 

But then again, the original fish resources for Oblivion got removed.

Cool. Well they are most likely not the main authors, but it does not matter, not as long as they use a credited resource and allow you as well to use it I guess. ;) Ask them if they know who is the main author, so you can credit both, so your mod does not get removed.
