I recently returned to ffxiv after four years and back in the days I changed lots of the in-game music (mainly ARR/Heavensward titles) to former FF-OST's by just using a simple tool called FFXIV Explorer. The music changing made me enjoy the game soo much more since the tracks I added hold a special place in my heart. Sadly this method doesn't seem to work anymore. I did a lot of research but I couldn't find a working method to replace the .scd files. I tried to decrypt & unpack the 0c000.win32.index file that contains the music with the ffxiiitool, to replace the music files manually but I just couldn't bring it to work. I am not a modder so without a proper tutorial I'm stuck in place. I already went off to find some help at different FFXIV modding Discordservers but got no solution as well. Since there are some people in here that did create some music changing mods, i thought maybe I'll find someone who's willing to teach me how to do it or at least could replace the needed files for me. Of course I can provide all the custom looped scd's and a detailed setlist of what files I used to overwrite in the past.
