It seems like such a waste of space as its unused and you can't do anything with it, and it would be a perfect Generals Quarters, to be used as a player home and a museum to showcase all your collectibles.
There is one already out on xbox, and it's good, but place anywhere doesn't work with it, and the lights and light sources can't be scrapped.

You might try searching for a mod The Castle Fully Restored In and Out v1.5. It is no longer available on this site but a little goggling might reveal a location for you.

Could some create a mod the cleans up the Castle tunnels, and turns it into a workshop that can be used as a player home after completing the "Old Guns" quest. Similar to Home Plate or Boston Airport.

These 4 are available right now on Nexus. These are tunnel restorations. The first one is what I use because it cleans, stocks and gives you workbenches in one mod. The others are good to varying degrees.
- Castle Tunnel Restoration https://www.nexusmod...out4/mods/14782 ,
- The Castle Tunnels Cleaned , https://www.nexusmod...out4/mods/14816 ,
- Castle Tunnels - Settlement and Restoration , https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/34332
- The Real Castle Armory , https://www.nexusmod...out4/mods/33155 , There are a few more available, but these are all I ever used. The Castle Fully Restored In and Out v1.2 is available at several locations on the web, This only repairs the castle above ground, it does not repair the tunnels. It does remove All junk and clutter. The collapsed parts are fully restored and can be built in. I use this also. I hope one of these works for you.

Maybe someone will be good enough to port them?
