Hello folks, I was hoping someone could give me some guidance in alleviating this problem. Skyrims been crashing pretty often for me as of late, and I'd guess it's because my papyrus logs are being so rapidly spammed. For a 20 minute play-session I get a 17.mb papyrus log before crashing. Or who knows, maybe that's harmless and it's my load order.

Here's are the lines in the Papyrus log that keep blowing it up. This repeats endlessly until the game crashes.

Spoiler

From my very small understanding of papyrus logs, this seems to be from the weapon racks in my current playerhome, which is the Sharlikran version of Dovakhiin Hideout.. I have Wuuthrad on a weapon plaque, and I was having some weird issues with putting things ON the weapon racks a few days ago. I didn't think anything of it, but now it seems to have gone crazy.

I tried removing everything from the racks, and that solved nothing. I tried removing everything from the home and then removing the mod (a no-no I know) but of course that still kept spamming this nonsense, just this time without anything to designate which mod it was coming from.

I may be able to go back to an earlier save and lose tons of hours of gameplay, but I'd much prefer to know if there's a fix for this. :S

And it's relevant, my load order

Spoiler

It's rare that I ask others for help, preferring to spend a few hours to figure these things out on my own and learn from it, but that gets rather frustrating after 600 hours of gameplay always being broken up by that.

A solution would be incredibly wonderful.

I actually get the same problem, though in my case it is due to the Breezehome FullyUpgradeable mod. As far as I can tell it comes down to one of two weapon racks in the home, and I've emptied them all just like you have. Besides restarting my character, I have no recourse, at least I don't think.

Sorry I could not provide you with any solution.

These errors are most likely caused by a mod that is replacing the vanilla weapon rack scripts. A user of my mod reported the same errors and I know that it's not because of my mod. I suggest looking at your scripts folder if there is a script WeaponRackActivateSCRIPT.pex or WeaponRackTriggerSCRIPT.pex. Also, linkinkampf, posting your load order might be helpful.

Ghaunadaur, I think I may have made a breakthrough, but I haven't gotten to testing anything yet. All I know is the last time it spammed the Papyrus logs (which is nearly every time on my save file, but not my GFs), the FormID pointed directly back to the weapon racks in the Breezehome FullyUpgradeable mod. Now, not really sure what to do next, I dabbled in TESVEdit and found the culprits. The racks being used overwrite the racks fixed by the USKP. Now, one of two things I can do now, either move the Breezehome mod to before the USKP, or move it after near the end of my load order.

For the sake of sanity here, I've already cleaned, BOSS'd, Reprocced, and Bashed Patched my game. I also make sure that anytime I reorder or disable even the smallest mods to rerun those as needed, as well as use "ClearInvalidRegistrations" in SKSE. It's not perfect, but this playthrough I've been rather good at only removing a handful of mods (RealClouds in particular due to the performance hit).

Without further ado, my load order.

TrippyTheO - My apologies if you see this as hijacking your thread. You are only one of a handful of people I've found who have this nearly similar isue, and I'd hope my contributions to this thread will solve both our problems. Sorry in advance.

I've been having the same issue last few days, it seems to be since I placed some items on the weaponracks in my home in Raven Rock from Dragonborn, but so far all the crashes have happened in Skyrim rather than Solstheim, usually on zoning but occasionally just while walking around, loading inventory or map or looting

Hey, I have a similar problem with this weapon rack activate script spamming my logs.

Spoiler

This is example of the script that seems to be looping that looks similar to yours. It loops an insane amount of times and I end up with 100+ mb worth of text in my logs in about ten minutes of gameplay. The "31" in my case refers to the Asteria player home mod, which has weapon racks in a certain area.

I think I may know what I did to cause it.

At some point I tried to place the quest item Red Eagle's Fury sword onto three of the racks in the Asteria... yep, those three ones being referred to in the logs: 3100FD30, 3101086A, and 3100FD4C. The sword just fell off the rack so I picked it back up and didn't think much of it... well, flash forward a few hours later and I'm getting this massive script spam. Wuuthrad, if I remember correctly, is also a quest item.

So, it seems the weapon rack activate script goes crazy when you try to put a weapon that is also a quest item onto the rack. Even after being removed and replaced with another item (and even after I removed Red Eagle's Fury from my inventory by completing the quest) the script seems to loop forever, consuming an insane amount of script resources. Strangely enough I was able to play for those few hours without any CTD, and only after checking my logs out of habit and seeing the insane size did I notice anything was wrong.

I too have USKP. Whether or not this has to do with the changes USKP makes to the weapon rack script, I don't know. If you have a save before you put Wuuthrad on the rack in the first place, I'd recommend going back and reloading.

Log sizes in the order of 100 MB point to an invalid tweak in Skyrim.ini (this also explains the crashes):

I'm having this same issue all of a sudden after deleting a bunch of mods, maybe some weapons and armor mods I had on weapon racks. There is one mod I know of that has some serious issues with the weapons,  Witcher Experience, those weapons you can't put in weapon racks at all because first they will appear somewhere else besides the racks and if you take them off you can't use the rack anymore! Also every time you enter that cell again it will duplicate those weapons over and over again causing save game bloat! The armor in this mod looks great but is also made wrong, and he has no intention of fixing any of this. And the person he handed the reins to doesn't seem to know what he's doing . All I know is all this started when I tried putting those weapons and armor from that mod in my weapon racks. I really like the armor from that mod and hope someone fixes this. But I gues I have to start a new game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sucks. http://skyrim.nexusm...com/mods/9198/?
