I was wondering if it was possible that equipment would degrade in their improvement level (legendary degrades to epic, epic degrades to flawless, etc. down to basic), rather than adding an entirely new system. I am a complete idiot to the inner workings of the game's mechanics, so forgive me in advance if this isn't feasible. If the idea is actually doable, then I would be more than happy to expand on the premise and implementation. It struck me as a bit odd that you would need MORE material to sharpen a weapon, but if you were repairing it then it would make more sense. The armour I can understand, though. I'm the type of person that wants to maintain their equipment, but not have to worry about it completely breaking. The "forge, refine, and forget" just bothers me a bit. Thank you for your time.
