Armor port has inconsistant, incorrect lighting

I'm working on this port from MW. I posed it in blender, exported to an obj then threw it into outfit studio for weight painting at which point it was converted to a nif. The obj looks fine in blender and windows 3d viewer so the problem may start with outfit studio. The reason I think that's important is this seems to be an issue with the model, not the textures. I swapped out all textures for similar ones from a mod I have downloaded but the problem persisted. It isn't from overlapping meshes or face orientation. Unchecking "receive shadows" in the bgsm did nothing. I'm at a bit of a loss and I can't find other people with this issue. I have other ports in the works right now and there's only one that doesn't have this issue but I don't know what makes them different.

I think it's also worth mentioning this is unaffected by enb being turned off.
