Need help with changing collision on an animated static

TL;DR: How can I import an animated static object in Blender 2.49b without losing the animation or how can I cut a collision hull from one version of a model and paste it in another version.

Here's the problem: I've been using Ashens2014(https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/users/49130093)'s animated models as they're lightweight, subtle and generally pretty good. However their Animated Great Khans Assets(https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/72798) has a file (nv_totemkhan.nif) that overwrites Collision Meshes(https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59149).

As you can see, here:

Ashens' mod has a broken collision hull from vanilla which sticks halfway into the ground.

This is fixed in Collision Meshes:

I thought that I could fix this myself by replacing Ashens' bhkCollisionObject with CM's in NifSkope but this didn't work. Altough everything seemed fine in NifSkope, in game the PC could walk right through the object although the animation would still play.

I tried messing with BSXFlags but nothing worked, so I decided to install Blender 2.49b from https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/42755 and import Ashens' model and manually move the hull, but this didn't work as importing the mesh in Blender would get rid of the animation and I couldn't find out how to avoid that.

At this point I've basically tried everything I could think of. I just wanted to get this model working and maybe gain some experience for future projects. If anyone has any pointers on importing and exporting the model in blender or more simply changing the hull in NifSkope I'd greatly appreciate it.
