Which Ones Need to Go for Performance?

Hello all, First off, here are my specs, Ill do my best to give whats relevant, sorry never done this before.

HP Pavilion dv6 laptop

windows 7 64 bit

6gb ram

intel i7 core proccesors 2630QM CPU

amd radeon 6770hd

1.3 dedicated vram

I use many many performance enhancing mods, as well as playing on low graphic setting. I've also followed many guides to improve performance (step, etc), and my computer is kept clean and de-fragged. basically, I'm not looking for any of that kind of help(hardware, software, tweaks, etc), I've sucked out all the power in my laptop.

My question is, do any of these mods stand out to you that are demanding on a low end pc? Ones that I should try to do without? At this point I'm really happy with the ones I have, but If I can pinpoint a few mods that severely reduce performance, Ill be happy. Currently i don't CTD or anything, but my fps is rather low and there's some stutter. I like to use a LOT of mods. Any help would be great!

(Keep in mind that for a lot of these mods, i use a lower res version for performance. Im also not gonna list the 10-15 performance mods I have installed)

Realistic Lightning Overhaul

W.A.T.E.R

There are three main mods there that will decrease performance.

SMIM (hurts FPS everywhere)

WATER (will mostly decrease FPS outdoors, not in dungeons or buildings)

Populated Cities (will mostly decrease FPS in towns)

Really, SMIM is probably having the biggest impact on performance. Either lose it, or just disable the hardest parts to run. Use the lite options where available. You especially want to avoid any options related to mountains.

Finally, in case you don't know, do not run Skyrim's shadows on ultra or at a 4096x4096 resolution unless you have a pretty strong PC. That takes a stronger card than a 6770 to run smoothly.

check this out: http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.6

read the notes on the right hand side, they often tell you what version to use, most of the time it's for maximum performance

Your setup atm is fairly capable of running your mods without hiccup unless you're using an ENB which depending on settings will murder fps. (I run Skyrim on two machines. One uses a gtx 460 with smim, water, CoT a number of different npc mods and can run it at 50 - 60fps)
