Race menu problems, can't get textures to show

Not sure if this has been asked before (sorry if that's the case) but I can't seem to get custom warpaints to work. Is there anything special I have to do to enable the "textures" tab I keep hearing about?

All I've done is installed the mod (everything works but can't access any plugins, such as WyldTats)


"you need to go to the textures tab as stated on the main description page (the very last tab on the character creation menu screen), and you will see text at the bottom telling you that you can hit "T" to choose a new texture."


I can also see it in Gophers review of the mod but I have no such last tab. All of the three last menus are empty for me (foot etc)

The tab you're looking for is called "Makeup", I think it used to be the last tab in its earlier versions, before the new features were added. It's the one that looks like a face (after the canvas), as shown in the author's screenshots. Also be sure you have WyldTats (WyldPlug version) installed also, as it does not come with Racemenu.

Highlight one of those "slots" than press "T" to choose a texture to apply, then click the diamond to mess around with the tints and such.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I see where you're going with this and I'm gonna try and be as concise as possible.

I have installed and activated: racemenu, racemenuplugin, +wyldmenuplugmale / female.

 

Everything with the racemenu mod works, the different options, and so on. I have checked my game / data folder and everything is where it's suppsed to be.

I'm clueless.

 

EDIT: Solved by installing "loose base scripts" as suggested in the troubleshooting section of the mod description.. guess I need to grow an extra pair of eyes.

Oh, my bad, should've mentioned installing that those scripts as well if you encounter any problems. Glad you got it to work, enjoy!
