Fixed headphones/volume

I think this belongs here and not Mod Requests because I'm asking if there is a mod for my issue, but I have a bad headset that only works when its perfectly in the headphone jack, and my issue is whenever it gets slightly messed up and stops connecting, if I'm playing fallout 3 it stops playing sound even if I fix my headphones because fallout 3 was made so that if headphones come out, it stops playing sound until it is restarted, so is there a mod out there that someone can link me to that makes it so if your headphones come out and get plugged back in you can still hear sound? It is really a pain needing to restart every single time they come out

You mean something like this ? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/23078/

But sounds like you just need to disable the sound output on your comp it reverts to when it loses connection with the headphones.

Which in that mods instructions , there may be some advice for that ?

My computer only changes the output to device output, but it connects back to my headphones right after they get fixed or plugged back in properly, it's something about fallout 3 itself that makes sound stop if headphones come out

Well my comp has problems with the headphone jack too. Turns off sound in browser ... so i think it isn't necessarily Fo3 , just that it has a harder time to recover.

So basically I was saying to disable the jack it switches to ... also try running the game in windowed mode ... and it may be able to recover by messing with sound on the task bar ??? IDK ... but then there is also the new headphones Idea ; )
