My Tilde key DOES work for Fallout 3 and New Vegas if that helps any. I have seen forums discussing this problem but they all aim towards Vista and 7. Thanks! discovery1 Posted November 23, 2013 Share Posted November 23, 2013 This is usually caused by your system using an infra red device such as a keyboard or mouse.I dont use either but have to uninstall the infra red keyboard in system, devices the tilde key will then operrate. The keyboard always reinstalls itself on a reboot .There is a mod on the nexus called " ring of console" which works perfectly well if you find no other solution.
