Doublefishes Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 I just reinstaled skyrim fresh and clean with the skse and NMM and what not and i see in the NMM that I have this 3 HighResTexturePacks, now my question is, last time I played I did not use this and I think now I should..... would it effect my preformance? yes or no, never mind the spec, my computer is beast..... and do other mods need this? is it bad if i dont use it? In regards to the first quote, I stated a one-worded answer as given the vague and open interpretation to your query, it is the answer you requested to no know. However, if you're computer is a big and hairy beast then the performance impact can be quite minimal - but then again we need to know how many other mods you use to understand / predict the answer more accurately. and do other mods need this? No. is it bad if i dont use it? What kind of question is that? What's bad? It's up to you if you want to use it or not. Doublefishes Posted September 20, 2013 Author Share Posted September 20, 2013 (edited) I do see.... no need to be this cynical I just needed a fast answer thats it.... im kind of in a fear this will interfear with other mods I use because last playtrought I got tons of CTD's and could not find the cause, so I started fresh from the start, this time downloaded only very few mods wich are those:Alternate Start - Live Another LifeAmazing Follower TweaksCalientes Female Body Mod Big Bottom Edition -CBBE-Dungeon Quest AwarenessImmersive Patrols RaceMenu - RaceMenu v2-1-1 SkyUI User interfaces Unread Books Glow so, any problems with this? I dont belive after what you said that there will be any problems so I will use it...... There won't be any problems caused by using those mods and the official HD DLC together. I started the game while using the Texture packs and after I start a new game or any other save for that matter a CTD, and with out the texture packs it works perfectly and i see no reason it should not work and it still does not Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
