Benda123 Posted March 20, 2022 Share Posted March 20, 2022 Hello, recently decided to do a modded playthrough of fallout 3 and ive ran into an issue that i can't seem to find online when i drag FOSE files into my games directory i have to launch the game with the FOSE\_loader however my nexus mod manager automatically starts the game with the default launcher. any help would be great Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Shabdez Posted March 20, 2022 Share Posted March 20, 2022 AFAIK there is still no FOSE for the latest game update. So you need to use the Anniversary Patcher to even get FOSE working. And now for the fun part. The Patcher also makes it so you no longer need to start the game from fose_loader but from the regular game exe.I never used NMM, but in MO2 I can choose the executable I want to run. But might be time to try a new mod manager ... if you can't reinstall it ? Add edit : Just checked NMM on my other machine ... and noticed in settings it does have a custom launch section ... but I'll be damned if I know what to type in it ?Also are you sure you are not getting Fose to launch ? Because my NMM launch game option doesn't say launch Fose like some of the other old mod managers.But after launching the game ... then typing "GetFoseVersion" It returns that it is loaded.And I am fairly positive , I installed NMM after drag dropping the Fose files.
