Annoying bug: button prompts disappear permanently when entering combat, reappear when restarting game

Basically everything works and game is hella smooth but when I enter combat all the button prompts like "pick cactus plant" or "search body" disappear and don't reappear until I restart the game. Everything still functionally works but I can't tell whether I can pick something up and it's causing me to miss stuff.

For anyone wondering I found the problem it was onehud, removed it and everything fine now.
