How do I use the hairtint console command? NOWHERE on the internet says how!

EVERY website ONLY lists the command as

""hairtint (red/green/blue)" Change player hair color"

but that is 100% incorrect! I tried "hairtint red" but I ALWAYS get the following error message: "Script 'SysWindowCompileAndRun', Line 1: Unknown variable 'red' for parameter Integer. Compiled script not saved'

So I Googled: Oblivion hairtint command

and someone asked online years ago how to use the command and the only answer he got was to use the console which I am 100% sure that is NOT the answer he was looking for. 70% sure the response he got was a troll answer.

Does anybody know the real way to use this command?
