[MOD Request] Urz replacing KEI-9

Hi,
I never liked KEI-9 he was so random and uninspired to me (sorry to all his fans). I know there was a mod for the old ME3 that replaced him with Urz the Varen from Tuchanka that you can feed and then follows you around, but this mod got removed.
So my goal was not to port this old removed mod but to do it myself (the idea is not new I saw a lot of posts talking about wanting to have Urz as a real pet so I dont think thats a problem as long as we dont use assets from this old mod).
I followed Padmès tutorial, but Im at a dead end for my skills.
At first I had a Varen model with KEI-9 Textures, now without changing anything, I have two of them walking on top of each other.
There are also some other things that need some change:
1.) The name obivously

2.) The existing email, either removed or changed

3.) Shepard renaming the dog needs removed

4.) removing the scanner

 

and I cant find how to do that stuff.

But the experience gave me an Idea, why not have both, Urz and KEI-9 on the normandy, maybe it would even be easier to do it instead of a replacer that also needs to change a lot of other things.

 

So I would appreciate any experienced mod makers help :)
