silkhorse Posted April 22, 2022 Share Posted April 22, 2022 I switched computers temporarily because my GPU failed in my new one, while I'm waiting to get another, I'm using a different computer. Signed into Vortex and all my mods are gone. Get a pop up that says I need to "Purge all mods" because this is a different version? Can't download anything thru Vortex and can't purge anything. rmm200 Posted April 23, 2022 Share Posted April 23, 2022 Just to flog that poor horse:Your mods actually live in the mod staging directory, which must be on the same drive as your game. Purge before moving that game.Downloads contains all your mod archives, and can live anywhere. Useful for reinstalls or carrying to a new computer.Profiles, etc live in Appdata on your boot drive.
