So, since buying the Anniversary DLC I have encountered a new problem. This DDL error message. I tried to fix it myself with no luck. TBH I don't know what I'm doing. But I do know I'm having Skyrim withdrawls. I've added a screenshot of the error message in the hopes that someone will save me.

Hi, you either installed the wrong SKSE version, or have unupdated DLL files in your SKSE folder. Please copy the name of each dll plugin name and search their name on google, this will take you to their nexus page, enter it and download the right version for your Skyrim. Update all dlls in this way. When finished, you should be able to launch Skyrim.

These are all the folders in which dll files may be installed. You may not have all of them, but SKSE you should have:

  • E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\DLLPlugins
  • E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\NetScriptFramework\Plugins
  • E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Plugins\Sumwunn
  • E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins
