Is it normal for the game to duplicate saves when you quit and when you reload the game those duplicates turn out to be corrupted for some reason?

Problem only started to show up yesterday, and I'm not even sure what's causing it or if it's even normal for fnv to be acting this way. Even FNVEdit doesn't know what's going on.
