Tool Box Resource

Looking for a tool box resource that looks kinda like what you would typically see in a garage (rolling with several drawers and maybe a top to work on). I did a quick search but couldn't find anything. Any help would be appreciated!

Posting a link for reference:

Does it have to be moveable ? Do the drawers have to animate ? Albeit could probably get 1 or 2 draws animating I think ?

But just take a bunch of items and build your own . You can resize any reference on its Reference window.

I like to make a dummy cell that only has floor , probably 10x10 tiles for this project , But I usually go with quite a bit of floor to drop in a lot of things , some of them rather large. Getting them all lined up , which I will just duplicate them instead of grabbing one to use , since I will likely be resizing the reference.

So anyways start going through the item tree and start dropping in items that sound like what you want so you can get a look at them.

Industrial statics have alot of useful pieces. Make use of the snap to grid and snap to angle to start. Lower the snap to grid as you need , but do it in 64 / 32 / 16 / 8 / 4 / 2 , getting pieces lined up , and some may need it turned off.

(Make sure your Floor was set in place with Snap to grid , Z height too )

For animated drawers ... checkout all the containers ... and then you will probably want to build the toolbox around that/those ... remember they can be resized too.

So you will probably create the majority of it with statics ... and once they are all in place where you want them ... you will probably want to turn them into a SCOL .

For easily placing them into a location. But any containers/activators ... will have to be placed independently of the SCOL . But not that hard making sure the scale is matched if changed.

Also for selecting the grouping easily , delete the floor tile below them so you can lasso the grouping without it.

Hope that helps.

Yeah thats not really what I had in mind. I'm thinking something more professional in appearance. Also I can't imagine what pieces would look good mashed together with a rolling toolbox as the object...

I don't mind making my own object but then again I really don't mind not having one at all. I really just wanted to know if anyone knew of an existing resource since it seems like something that's already been done.

No need for animated drawers or movable static. It was just going to be used to make the utility room look more realistic in one of my mods. Thanks for any help!

Well if you didn't try searching workbench resources ,try that since what you are looking for might be more likely classified as that.

But is likely everything is going to have that jury rigged and weathered look.

A quick simple mashup that looks decent imo ... would be the surgical cart with a dresser (vault) scaled to .5 set inside it .

Put a second one flipped 180 to have drawers on both sides.

You know what, that vault dresser is super close to what I'm looking for. Posted a pic of what I've done so far. Thanks for the suggestion! I'm still interested in seeing if there are any others out there.

What ! No Wheels ?!? I thought you wanted it to look like a professional would use it

But LOL jokin ... I know what you meant

It has a good look in that room . Guessing the cart mashup looked a bit off ?

Hard to say what something will look like till you get it into the space and view the room as a whole.
