Female Sole Survivor loses all inventory during fast travel and slow travel

This only happens with my female Sole Survivor save. When I fast travel anywhere (doesn't matter where) or even just walk to some random place she loses her entire inventory, including whatever armor she was wearing. Everything just disappears and I can't find a solution to it. Has this happened to anyone before and is there a real fix for it short of just deleting those saves?

That IS weird...... Can you use the Pip-Boy app on your setup? If so, I would be tempted to have it running on your inventory page, while walking along, and see at what point things disappear.

Nope, never seen this particular problem before. No idea what might be causing it, possibly a mod..... but, why anyone would put that 'feature' into their mod is beyond me......

Maybe it's a mod that calls Reset() on the Player, I'm not sure. Create a hard save, disable all of your mods then travel to a few locations. Does it still happen? If not, enable your mods one by one (and don't forget to fast travel)..

My first reaction is to smart off with something like "Look for the hole in your pocket" But I know that isn't helpful, other than for a mild chuckle.

That really IS an odd situation that you have there. And like everybody else, I don't see a mod in your list that would cause a problem like that.

And the only reason that I can think of...as to why it's only affecting that one character is that, that toon has done something the others have not.

LarannKiar's advice is the best. But. I will go ahead and add to it.

Get a mod called Cheat Terminal. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13285

First, use it to rename your character. Just add a 1, 2, or something like that, behind the regular name you're using. This will cause your savegames to fork. They will now save to the newly named character, without having to rebuild THAT character, while still preserving the character savegames that you have on the original.

After that, switch back to your main, and go in, and use cheat terminal to provide you with infinite carry weight. Not really to be cheaty, but to see if your carry weight limit is somehow the cause of the problem. I dunno if that is it or not, but it might be my first guess. Not that I see anything in your list that might cause that, due to weight.

This is a really, really unique issue that you have. I really hope that we figure out what's causing this, just in case it ever comes up for anybody else!

Uh, just thought of something. Did you try out any quest mod... mods? There's one or two of them, that take away your inventory when you start the quest.

If you had that mod running on your character, and then uninstalled the mod, the scripts that strip your items, will still be baked into your savegame.
