Creating a bashed patch would help since it solves conflicts. You need Wrye Bash for that.

Also, install a crash logger and it may tell you what mod is responsible for the crashing.

For Skyrim SE 1.5:

https://www.nexusmod...tion/mods/21294

For Skyrim SE/AE 1.6:

I got the crash logger but it is still not clear what the issue is because my game crashes before skse even loads it up.

Btw doesn't synthesis make bashed patches as well?

I am not sure if synthesis and bashed patch are the same.

Do you mean that the game crashes instantly and you can't even see anything game related?

Otherwise, the crash log for .Net Script Framework is:

  • E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\NetScriptFramework\Crash

And for Crash Logger:

  • C:\Users\[your username]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE

If no crash log was generated, disable all your mods and see if it starts up. If it starts up, you will know it is mod related.

Then enable 50 or so mods at a time, check that it starts up every time, then continue enable 50 more mods, and whenever it stops starting up, you will know the last 50 enabled mods includes the culprit. Then go through them.

Instant crash usually means some kind of SKSE mismatch, either with the game version, or one of the mods dependent upon it.  You could double-check your SKSE mods against the list at SKSE Plugin Status (https://modding.wiki...rs/skse-plugins) .  A game version mismatch with your version of SKSE should give some kind of error message on start-up.

Figured out the culprit was the se versiion of Ai Overhaul. Deleted it and i can now access my main menu once more but unfortunately the game still wont load anything after i select new game or a saved game. Im really not sure what the preoblem is i think it may be Legacy of Dragonborn
