My favorite mod is https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/51935
The linked mod is called "Class portraits diversified". I really like this mod because it looks like classic vanilla Oblivion. The author of that mod says on the mod page,

Yeah I know I’m doing the part nobody cares about, but after I’ve seen existing replacers for these class icons, I got so disgusted I just had to make my own.

Features - diversity, all playable races, non-sexualized women
Not featuring - nudity, gigantic honkadonkas, boob plate

I did not alter the pictures of Mage, Monk, Sorcerer and Warrior. I think they're OK as they are. Might or might not touch them in the future.

You don't see those images really after the sewers, but I thought it was a nice touch.

My other Oblivion mods I use are,

Dynamic Map, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/35969

DarkUId DarN, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/11280

The community maintained up-to-date fork of Oblivion Script Extender (OBS>, called, xOBSE. https://github.com/llde/xOBSE

Wrye Bash, https://github.com/wrye-bash/wrye-bash/

SkyBSA, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49568

EngineBugFixes, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47085

Unofficial Oblivion Patch, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/5296

Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/10739

Unofficial Oblivion DLC Patches, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/9969

HD Oblivion Icon, https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/46446

That last one is not so much a mod, but an icon for the HD, 4K era. .ico format.

I'm pretty much at https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion, I don't mod Skyrim. Maybe someday when I get all achievements in Steam, I might get around to modding Skyrim. I use the GOG version of Oblivion and Morrowind. For Steam, I use the original release of Skyrim and the special edition with the anniversary DLC. The link to the store page at Steam for the original release of Skyrim is unlisted, but you can still buy the original release of Skyrim at Steam which is cool. I play as one character in special edition and use the original release of Skyrim to play as another character.

The Elder Scrolls games are fun. I don't like playing Arena and Daggerfall. Tried the first two releases and they were too primitive, which is strange as I played Kings Quest and Leisure Suit Larry when I was a child in the 80s. I remember asking my parents for the answer to the question that allows you to play Leisure Suit Larry, they did not know I was asking about the Larry game, they said I didn't need to know and being there was no World Wide Web in the 80s, I had to send money for the game manual to Sierra and when I got the book, I excitedly looked for the answer at the beginning of the book. My heart sank when I realized that I would have to read the entire manual to find it, . Poor kid.

Just a side note. I installed the GOG versions of Oblivion and Morrowind at the root of the C:\ drive. In my case I chose, "C:\Bethesda\Oblivion". And "C:\Bethesda\Morrowind". Wrye Bash auto installed to the "C:\Bethesda" folder automatically. I keep a copy of all my installed mods in "C:\Bethesda\Nexus Mods". I put my HD versions of the Oblivion and Morrowind icons in "C:\Bethesda\Icons\Oblivion" and "C:\Bethesda\Icons\Morrowind". I keep my installers for Oblivion and Morrowind in "C:\Bethesda\Install_files\Oblivion" and "C:\Bethesda\Install_files\Morrowind".

That's my folder setup for the Elder Scrolls 3 and 4. Both versions of Skyrim are the usual Steam setups. This is what worked for me. I always like hearing about other people's setups for modding as I always learn something new.

That's my mod setup. Just a person from Montana USA. I love the fact that the Internet exist, warts and all, because some mods are made by people outside the USA and I would have no other way of getting their mods and there would be no endorsement button to let them know that their mods are wanted by others.

Bye.
