Weapon skin textures never seem to load

Whenever I try to install a new weapon skin (such as a high definition skin, reskins, or a new guns), everything turns up purple or, for new guns, random textures are superimposed on the skeleton (my Springfield alternates between Combat Armor, yellow warning signs, and Nuka Cola). I know this means the mod failed to install correctly and FO3 can't find the texture, but I'm trying my darndest to figure this out.

I installed the game on my secondary hard drive (D), and I have to bounce between FOMM and NMM to get everything to work properly (since many older mods were designed years before NMM came to life). I'll offer any information I can if someone wants to help me out...

Game data: D: > Program Files > Bethesda Softworks > Fallout 3 > Data

NMM saves all my mods in my Skyrim folder (I have no idea why but it works for the most part) here: D: > Program Files > Steam > SteamApps > Common > skyrim > Fallout3 > Data

I've tried fixing NMM to save in my Bethesda folder, but it keeps giving me errors that forbid me from doing so.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

For correcting the texture problem, after adding a mod that changes a texture, look to the top of FOMM, left click the "Tools" tab. In the drop down menu, look to the bottom and uncheck "Archive Invalidation". Answer "Yes" in the pop-up box. Again, left click "Tools", place a check alongside "Archive Invalidation" and answer "Yes" in the pop-up box. This is toggling "ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated"

The other problem is having Fallout 3 loaded in "Program Files". Your UAC is preventing any changes to the mine program files.

I actived Archive Invalidation (man, modding sure has come a long way since FO3) and the game can't load. It might also be worth mentioning that I named this folder "Program Files" when I installed the hard drive because I couldn't think of a better name. I could have called it "Cheese Wheels For Everyone" or whatever.
