SSE rework of a Soul Reaver mod

im a big Legacy of Kain fan, but there are very few mods for skyrim that do it justice.

a very old offbrand russian Soul Reaver mod exists on the webs, but its now very outdated and works only for regular Skyrim, not SE.

years ago i tracked the creator on steam, he didnt want to port it, as he is no longer playing Skyrim, but did not care if i port it myself.

 

i really like the original mod, but it aged somewhat poorly. After messaging different high profile modders, none seemed to be interested or had time to do it, even for a couple shmeckles in return :(

the sword "glows" in any light like its made of glass,

the blade itself is actually 1mm thing when looked from the side and some of the textures are very dull for today´s standards.

the shape overall is very flat.

the author had custom animations too, but said he did not know how to port them to SE, i dont know what he meant by that since i have 0 understanding of behind the scenes modding.

 

i spent a good 5 years now trying to find someone to pimp it, technically I could have learned myself how to do it all this time :D

 

but i didnt :(

 

hope someone has the interest, time and skill for this task.
