how to get rid of staging folder changed message on every start?

i am using vortex version 1.5.11

 

i moved all vortex and game related folders from one users %appdata% to anothers (want one account for work the other for games).

while all games (steam and gog) are working fine (including all apps installed), vortex brings up this message on every start:

 

 

 

Since admin is the new user i confirm the pre-selection and all is working fine.

 

The problem is: i see this on every game change and start of vortex. My question is: How to get rid of this / save my selection and thus save "config" into "manifest"? Can i manually fix the "manifest" where can i find?

Click "Deploy" on the Mods screen. If successful it will update the manifest.

Wow, thanks. This helped indeed - probably a little hint in the prompt might be helpful. or update the manifest directly after selection of new folder in the prompt?

If you would like to see a change in the way Vortex works, submit it as Feedback through Vortex. Upper right three dots.

 

That way your suggestion gets tracked. Comments in a Topic tend to age off into oblivion.
