Seasons on Skyrim. Not always winter

I second this. It would be nice if there was some difference between Morning Star and Sun's Height.

The way it is, Riften's forest seems to be a permanent Autumn and Falkreath is eternal Summer.

But I suspect it would be an absolutely huge job.

There is Climates of Tamriel, which is a big enough mod, but I don't have it and I think it controls weather, not actually rotate the seasons, but check it out.

Yes, I'd like to see this, too. Though I think Skyrim is actually stuck in fall, not winter., it's just that the climate is so cold that many areas are snowed in for much of the year. It should be possible to do it since the game keeps track of the months. There is a "winter" preset for Climates of Tamriel which will give you winter everywhere, and a summer flora texture set somewhere. It would be nice to see winterhold bloom. I guess you could manually switch your mods in and out, but it would be to better to have something automatic. Also, we don't have spring--melting snow, and budding trees. A full overhaul would affect would affect what herbs are available at different times, roots year round, flowers only spring & summer, berries in summer & fall. It would make for an awesome fit with Frostfall and the realistic needs mods.

If there were texture packs that were themed off of each season, perhaps one could create of script that loaded these textures depending on the month in-game. I know there are winter and summer texture packs, but I haven't seen any for autumn or spring. In my thinking, that would be the best way to do it.
