Why was Nude Greece hidden/removed from Nexus?

Hey folks,

Does anyone know why the Nude Greece mod was hidden from the nexus? Other mods work fine with the latest patch (for the most part), and I was wondering why the author decided to hide their mod? Does anyone know how I can get my hands on it? I need my nude Alexios and there's no way to do it currently without installing extra software (other than Forger, which I don't want to do).

All of the nude mods and a bunch of other mods have all been removed. I was wondering why as well then found this article.

https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/nexus-mods-policy-change-delete-mod-files

It seems Nexus decided modders can no longer remove their uploaded content as of August 5th 2022 (what if you want to replace it with a more refined version of the mod??) , so many of them opted to simply remove their mods prior to that going into effect. I have no idea why Nexus thought this would be a good idea. Seems a host of modders have pulled their content for games across the board in protest. If killing off Nexus mods was their aim, it seems to be working.

You are referring to the policy of archiving files instead of allowing deletion from 2021, not 2022.

It was implemented so that Collections which rely on a specific version of a mod wouldn't break due to files being deleted.

Authors can still upload newer versions of their mods and the archived versions are removed from download pages so that they can only be downloaded if you already have the direct link to the file (such as a Collection would have).

A number of authors did pull their mods, largely due to differences in opinion regarding their ownership vs. the license they grant to the Nexus when uploading their mods.

But "killing off Nexus mods" is an absurd exaggeration. The site has continued to grow without problems and the Collections feature is pretty great really.
