So something I've been thinking about doing for a while now is adding weapons from Fallout NV into Fallout 3, though just the guns that Fallout 3 has ammo for already. I could make a Calibr version but I'm not up for the work I'd have to put into putting the Calibr ammo into leveled lists.

 

Sadly I will not be making modable versions as thats far too much work for me right now, though I may make unique versions of some guns with cool features like drum magazines, scopes, faster firing, etc.

 

Anyways, not only will the mod bring some FNV weapons to Fallout 3, but I plan to make some of my own varients of Fallout 3 and FNV weapons. I've got a quick list made up, but if any one has some decent ideas or changes I'm all ears. I'm going to try my best to get most of these done if I can with my skill. Far warning though, I'm still new to moding and modeling so there may be bugs.

 

I may eventually make a New Vegas version if I can get this version done, which will have FO3 weapons in FNV, with all the varients ill be making here.

You wont be able to release it, you cant port assets from one game to another including fallout NV to Fo3, ( fallout 3 assets are usually ok as most are in the NV BSA's) but vice verse nope, but always check first anyway.,

What is there some rule against that? Porting between FO3 and FNV should be allowed since we're allowed to mess with each games files, so its not like any laws would be broken by modifying and porting to a game in the same series

 

If it really is against the rules then theres not much point in making this mod
