So, while managing Skyrim special edition I did not have SKSE64 so I installed it however when I did vortex still told me I didn't have it installed so I installed it a second time, however the Anniversary version this time. But now whenever I deploy mods for Skyrim Special edition it cannot as it says 2 files are in conflict, both files are the same SKSE64 file but I cannot delete one or the other. And on top of that vortex now doesn't support Skyrim Special Edition as I cannot find it in the games section. What do I do? I have reinstalled vortex, verified Skyrim and done several scans. Help.

I looked up "sky" when looking for games and it didn't show up.

Skyrim special edition is entirely missing from Vortex, however it shows up inside of the files with all of my previously installed mods but not on the launcher.

Well first realize there is only Skyrim Special Edition. Anniversary Edition is just a specific version of Skyrim Special Edition.

Since you are already managing Skyrim Special Edition, you will find neither it nor Anniversary Edition under Games. It is Managed.

SKSE is version specific. Compare the version you are running ("Properties" on the Skyrim SE executable) with the choices offered at skse.silverlock.org.

Remove both SKSE entries in Vortex. Right mouse on the mod entry. Do it for both entries, and remove archives.

Download the correct version from Silverlock and drag the zip file to Vortex. Install and Deploy.

Let us know how it goes.
