[LE] First time modding Skyrim: assistance needed on custom follower.

This is my first time using the forums, have never used forums before. I am currently making a follower mod [ESP available upon requests.]

Following this video here: How to Make a Follower Mod Like Lucien Flavius - Part 2 - Creating a Custom Follower Framework - YouTube

However, when I try and add my custom voice, there are no dialogue options that come up and I cannot speak with my follower at all. I have tried many things, but I still cannot figure out how to get my custom dialogue to come up in the text menu. It works when I pick things like a vanilla voice set, but when I try and use a voice that I created, it does not work.

Any help would be appreciated. I have also reloaded my save files as it states in the video, but that did not solve the issue. Some Screenshots from the creation kit have been included, if you need additional screenshots or explanations, please contact me.

Thank you!

For custom dialogue to work you need to:

1) Create a quest 'Game Start Enabled', if you don't and you will be using stages, then you need some sort of trigger to fire the starting stage so that the quest handling the dialogue becomes active.

2) If you will be using your custom made 'voice type', then your dialogues lines or the condition tab in the first tab of the quest must have 'that' voice type as a condition.

Or an alternative instead of using a 'voice type', you can use 'GetsItID' condition to target your npc.

3) You must generate a SEQ file for your custom made dialogues to appear in game.

* Create a 'test' mod with a custom made NPC and a custom made quest dialogue (it dosen't needs too many dialogue lines just add to it 4 line:hello, waht's up?, see you later, etc...), so that you get the hang of it, it's quite easy but you need to follow specific steps for it to work. With this test mod you can learn faster and lose less time trouble shooting issues on your main mod.

* Your post doesn't target the issue you are facing so that a solution can be provided, it's too general and it can be a number of reasons for why it's not working.
