So this is just my luck.

I bought the game Oblivion just yesterday, and aware of the fact that the faces in Oblivion are the worst thing ever invented, I installed the "Oblivion Character Overhaul" mod to remedy this. So upon loading the game, it just doesn't work. The mod I mean. The game appears to be the same as vanilla, hideous characters and all. (And yes, It is installed correctly and enabled and everything. I've been playing Skyrim for ages and am given to understand that modding is very similar between the two games.) I'm fairly sure that this is just some universal force in a plot to make my life as inconvenient as possible once again, but anyone's advice would help. (Also I've got no other mods installed, and all of the official add-ons ARE installed, if that's relevant)

I'm quite happy with the Natural Faces mod in combination with a hi-rez skin pack. I can't speak for the mod you're using -never tried it. Modding for Oblivion is the same procedure as for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Can't speak for Skyrim either because I haven't played it yet. My bet is that all games are pretty much the same for modding.
