Infinite loop video! Cant play

I'm facing a major problem with this video that plays in oblivion whenever i take my inventory. Once it starts it keeps playing indefinitely, I cant skip it or do anything to stop it and the only way to get out is to close the game . Its an infinite loop!! I dont know which mod is causing this but the video that plays is named xuldfdream1. I dont know where it came from but its a very annoying and stupid bink video. I tried removing the file but then when i take the inventory there is this horrible crackling sound which indicates its still trying to play the video in a loop. It occurs when i cross the bridge south of imperial isle (SOUTH NOT ADJACENT) . So everything was alright before i crossed this bridge but as soon as i cross it and take my inventory the darned video starts. Any kind of help would be appreciated. If anyone could tell me which mod is it associated with it would be a huge help...

"xul..." is Unique Landscapes, I can't guess for which region though by the filename alone.

The video certainly is meant to play only once, but for some reason it keeps repeating. Better read up in the mod comments if it was reported before or ask the authors what could be the cause.

Thx a lot. I had a hunch it was unique landscapes but then i thought why would UL play any video. The video itself looked like it came from some quest mod. I'll try contacting any ul authors. And by the way the crackling sound disappears after i rest for an hour.......

I bet that it is UL Dark Forest. The "df" in the name, and the location south of imperial isle are giveaways. Also, Dark Forest does have a quest, as do a few other UL mods.

Some of the UL mods do have quests, quite good ones. A Dark Forest quest that starts with a dream sounds familiar, but I don't run forest-based UL mods anymore due to performance issues, so I can't say definitively. But the name of the video leads me to think what I do.

Scratch that, I just opened the archive for UL Dark Forest, and I see your three videos there. So that is definitely the offending mod. But I would also like to suggest that DF never did that for me when I did use it, so it is probably a weird conflict with something else you have installed.

If you do not want to remove the mod, you will have to open the mod with the CS to find the quest id and quest stages, then you can use console commands to bypass said quest/stage entirely. Or scour the Dark Forest comment thread, there is a good chance someone will have posted the info you need there.
