Problem with hair in Enhanced Character Edit

I have a problem with hair, the 'base' of the hair seems to sit below the skull so the hairline and such is not actually visible, I fiddled around a bit but couldn't find any sliders that fixed the problem. Has anyone else had this problem, is there anyway to fix it? The only 'solution' I found was turning one of the racial traits sliders up, but the changes that actual face shape which I don't want.

Do you have a body type modification? I found that the vanilla hairline will sit lower on certain body types if they are modded, but with character gen extension there is sliders that help adjust such things. I hope you have already found the answer to your dilemma though :)
