DarNified UI extras reset error

So I have been trying to have a minimal modded game to play on a laptop since Im not allways avaliable at my desktop PC. The laptop is fairly simple with Intel graphics and I did get it to work and Fallout 3 runs smoothly at 30 fps.

 

My problem is that DarNified UI (mod I really do love) seems to be messing up. It keeps resetting the DUIF3Extras everytime I open the main menu (escape menu)

 

Error message: DUIF3Extras Settings reset to default

 

This keeps spamming in my console, only way to exit is to type "cam".

 

I've tried to reinstall it, reinstall the hotfix, let BOSS handle load order, put DarNifiedUI.esp in the bottom of load order and generally get it working. Google was no help aswell, another person had this issue but DarN said he fixed it in the hotfix.

 

Fonts and text is working pretty good, DUIF3 does not bother if I turn off DarNifiedUI.esp.

 

The DarN F3 menu and icon in the bottom left does not show up.

Ive also tried launching the game without DarNifiedUI.esp and enabling later, no dice.

Anyone had a similiar issue/know any fix would be much appreciated.

NEVERMIND PEOPLE!

 

I found out Nexus Mod Manager had decided that Archive Invalidation shouldnt be on because it said so, even though I had it turned on.

 

After I selected it, everything worked.

 

IF YOU SHOULD HAVE SIMILIAR ISSUES, BE SURE ARCHIVE INVALIDATION IS ON OR REACTIVATE IT.

 

Talk about an honest mistake.

it happens to me with archive Invalidation enabled or disabled :(

It's an install order problem. For me, I corrected it by:

 

1. Uninstalling DarN UI and hotfix all together

 

2. Disabled all other Hud mods (Immersive HUD, Unified HUD, FWE Darnified patch, etc)

 

3. I then reinstalled DarN UI fomod version, then it's hotfix (Saying yes to All for each when prompted)

 

4. Then installed the DUI patches for any mods that have them (Saying yes to All)

 

5. Then activated each of my other Hud mods (Saying yes to All)

 

This seemed to work, as I started the game and whether I continued or started a new game, the DUI help screen didn't show up when I hit ESC. Just the DUIF3 menu at the lower right appeared, as it should, and I could access the settings menu.
